Not Going Away

I've been thinking about my motivation. Why do I spend hours working for candidates, raising money, going to events and meetings. I have family and friends and a house and school and hobbies that could occupy that time, and well.

Here's what motivates me: Mean spirited Republicans like Mayor Sue Frank who have turned Raytown City Hall into their own personal feifdom. Do nothing Aldermen like Christine White who cling like a leach to Sue Frank and do nothing to help our city. False Republican churches like First Baptist Raytown that support right-wing Republicans like Will Kraus, all the while trying to cover their own sexual sins like a cat in a litter box. And that's just the local scene.

So if you're in Frank's clique, know this. Me and my friends are here, and we are never going to quit. We came close to getting rid of Kraus (beat him in Raytown and KC!) and that just fired us up for more. We are going to grind you down, year after year, election after election. We will force you to go back to your donors over and over. We knock every door, mail every post card, put up every yard sign that it takes to get responsible government for the citizens of our city.

We are ready for the long fight, because we don't believe you are. You see, bullies always cut and run when the people stand up to them.
